Don’t know about you Frank, but I’m really torn between colour and b/w with shots like this, at this time of year. Sunlight through leaves looks beautiful and ethereal in b/w, especially with some thicker black branches in between. But the natural greens against a blue sky are also wonderful. Mostly I’m sticking with b/w (as you did here) because I’m shooting 99% of other photos b/w, but it’s a difficult choice sometimes. What are your thoughts on this?
This shot, well the picture in the frame floating above my head was black and white…
In situations where I see harsh contrasts, shadows and light I automatically switch to b&w
Color for me is better suited to softer lighting… as in autumn or winter. Well except the post if the 135mm Tak…. that was color film I had in the Spottie
