It was obvious to me that I loved them, but less obvious to pinpoint the reason to it. A word of warning first! Adios Adobe!

From Wikipedia:
Adobe (US: /əˈdbi/, UK: /əˈdb/;[1] Spanish: [aˈðoβe]) is a building material made from earth and other organic materials. Adobe means mudbrick in Spanish, but in some English speaking regions of Spanish heritage it refers to any kind of earth construction, as most adobe buildings are similar in appearance to cob and rammed earth buildings. Adobe is among the earliest building materials, and is used throughout the world.

That’s where it’s at for me and Adobe. From now on Adobe is just a mud brick for me, not any enslaving subscription software (I wonder about the ‘other organic materials’ mentioned in the definition above 😉 ).

I hate my Couch or how to chose the right software!

Yes, I hate it with a passion!170125 - Leica IIIa (Pinhole) - Ilford HP5 - 012.jpg

Those last two weeks I’ve been spending my days between the bed and the couch. Speaking of a choice here! “What has it got in it’s pocketses!?”

Do you know this famous outcry of Gollum when he’s unable to solve Bilbo’s unintended ‘riddle’?bilbo-and-gollum-trade-riddles

The question is a valid one. What have we got in our pocketses nowadays? I guess most of us carry a shiny square of metal/glass/plastic that has become the Swiss Army Knife of our civilisation, if I may call this sorry state a civilisation, sorry to all you Romans, Greek, Chinese, Indian, Phoenician, Maya etc out there.

The weather is mocking me!

It’s been cold and wet mostly the weeks prior to my surgery, in my mobile days and now that I’m codemned to sitting at home with a maximum of 10 Minutes of staying upright per hour, the sun’s out and temps will go to an unseasonable 20 plus degrees celsius (68 F).
